Whiteline Performance New Products for the Tesla Model 3 and Y

When we found out that Whiteline Performance recreated the Tesla Model 3 compliance arm, we had to get our hand on it. We made the drive to Southern California and meet witih Whiteline Performance and seen it first hand.

Let me say, the arm makes it easier to install versus removing the original compliance caster arm and pressing out the Tesla bad bushing for Whitelines replacement spherycal caster busing (KCA531)

The one thing about pressing out an old bushing is that you will need to reuse the same control arm and hope that the sphyrical bushing is in the correct posittion.

Yes we can do the sphyrical bushing replacement, but we find it esier that the manufacture has it all setup and ready for installation.

The new compliance caster arm is listed at a retail value of $495.99 and on sale for $421.50. This listed price is for both left and right control arms. Not bad for a sphyrical bushing wrapped in Whitelines sauce of polyurathane to help keep the NVA down.

Tesla Inc lists their arms, (FRONT LOWER COMPLIANCE LINK ASSEMBLY - LEFT HAND) at $397 for just this one arm.

We will let you do the math on the price comparances.

Whiteline Performance Compliance Arm for Tesla Model 3

The oportunity of installing the Whiteline compliance arm came up when we were upgrading shocks for this 2017 Tesla Model 3. we adviced the customer of what we saw with his compliance arms, he said to go ahead and install these arms. Great opportunity to test them.

This is what a 50,000 mile Tesla compliance bushing looks like.

Tesla Model 3 compliance bushing

The original Tesla bushing has seen better days. We have seen these compliance bushing fail ar around 25,000 miles, on Model 3/Y.

You can see in the images below that the Whiteline Performance product is no different to the OEM Tesla except for the Whiteline spherical bushing.

Installation of the arms are take no more than 30 min on each side with a 2 post professional lift. And should take about 1 hour for each side if your doing it in your home garage with basic tools.

These two images is an upclose comparisons of the Whiteline product versus Tesla OEM.

What you will feel in changing the lower compliance arms is much stout and responsive turning radius, especially when making U-turns, or switching lanes.

The steering feels firm and steering response is like a Ferrari.

Overall if we had a Tesla Model 3 with around 15,000 miles our first modification would be the entire line-up of Whiteline Perfromance front suspension upgrades.

We cant wait to test and install Whitelines otherTesla products.
